26th Sep 2007, 14:32. I've had the dreaded coil cut-out on my 53 V6 3 litre, losing one cylinder in the rain. I pulled over and turned the engine off for 15 minutes to let the engine heat dry the coils – and then continued my journey – an anti-pollution fault was reported for about two weeks (no doubt while the unburned fuel contaminating the cats had burned off).

I went to a local garage and with the help of a plain KONWEI OBD diagnostic tool we saw the fault code which was "P20EE". We erased the fault but it came back on about a week later. The van performs really well, I can not detect loss of power in any way (although the warning light remains on).

Probably same as yours and many others, goes into "limp home mode" if the engine is laboured around 2100 revs in fourth (ours is manual), with the Anti-pollution Fault warning. The mark 1 C5 2.0 hdi does not have eolys fluid and an exhaust particle filter (FAP) so any problems related to these can not apply in your case.
