That looks like the GW2 client itself having issue connecting to the servers unless launchbuddy messing things up with one of the commandline arguments. You can check that by opening Task Manager then right click on one of the column headers and turn on the Command Line column. The command line is empty, if I start GW2 via Launchbuddy.
Sadly I haven't heard of this happening to anyone else (40+ guild). Only thing i could suggest is try a new client (re-downloading it directly from anet) and make sure you don't have the firewall running while download it as it may be stopping it. Worst case you can just copy your directory on disk and give him it, its can be easy copied and
i tried to download GW2, it downloaded like 20gb since yesterday, but the files remaining is not moving. and i searched %temp% and the game folder, i cant see any files added Gw2.dat is 6GB since yesterday, still not moving. where does the patcher download? and is it moving or im just wasting bandwidth. (bloodsucking ISPs)

My installer will install about 400k+ files before giving up and completely stopping. Ive tried a few variations of the following already;-repair-log -assetsrv 64.25.41.2and others.Would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!
