Onlyever put Mobil 1 'ESP' in my mk2 when doing oil changes so going to stick with the 'devil I know' with the mk3. When you change the oil on this Diesel engine you put in the specified amount of oil thats it. I believe this engine is 4.6l so you measure out 4.6l and put it in the engine.
